STATE CHAMBER GRASSROOTS MEETING

The State Chamber conducts Grassroots meetings throughout the state this time of year to get feedback on issues facing business, especially small businesses. The Midlands Grassroots meeting has been set for September 17th in Columbia from 11:30 to 1PM. A midday meeting in Columbia might prove to be challenging for some of you to attend, so the Greater Lexington Chamber & Visitor's Center has extended an invitation for you and your voluntary leadership to attend their monthly breakfast on Tuesday September 8th starting at 7:30. Ted Pitts will give a State Chamber Legislative update followed by input from those attending representing small business. This format, to a large measure, will replicate the one scheduled in Columbia. Ted especially wants to hear from small businesses of 10 or less. The meeting will be held at The Radius, 300 W Main St. Please let me know by email  how many of you will be attending  by Thursday , September 3.  Cost for the breakfast is $8.00.
